Yes! If you select the 'Cut Out Face' mode, the AI detects the face outline and facial structure in the photo, removes the background, and cuts out only the face. It is perfect for profile pictures or photo collages.
Q.How do I use the text cutout (text extraction) tool?
In Text mode, choose Drag Text Area or Click Inside Area. The click method lets you add multiple purple mask regions. Click 'Cut Out Text' to open the Compare editor, then restore missing colors with the eyedropper beside Brush Edit.
Q.What is 'Tolerance' in the text cutout settings?
Tolerance sets the sensitivity for color matching. A lower value extracts only pixels that exactly match the clicked color, while a higher value matches a broader range of similar colors, including surrounding shadows or anti-aliasing gradients around the text strokes.
Q.Can I extract handwritings or complex text from signs?
Yes. Drag a generous area around the writing for automatic extraction, then use the eyedropper to add representative colors and adjust Tolerance when a complex background causes missing strokes.
Q.What is the difference between 'Cut Out Person' and 'Cut Out Face'?
'Cut Out Person' detects the entire person's silhouette, including clothes and body contours, and separates them from the background. 'Cut Out Face' uses facial landmark detection to isolate only the head/face region inside a clean circular crop.
Q.Can I add custom borders or change the background color after cutting out?
Absolutely! Once the cutout is done, you can use the editing panel to apply outline strokes (borders) in any size and color, fill the background with solid colors, or download the transparent PNG instantly.
